Our offensive line sucks. Like really sucks. Miami's offensive line is probably the worst unit on any team in the top 25.

Because our offensive line sucks, our QB play sucks. When an offensive line cannot run block, you have to pass because you can't pick up 2nd and 10s and 3rd 10s on the ground. But, since the offensive line sucks at pass blocking too (our tackles get beat on every play), the QB play suffers. When you have a young QB, he is too inexperienced and rushes throws. When you have a veteran QB with accuracy problems, the O line doesn't give him time to throw deep, so his bad accuracy doesn't allow him to complete midrange passes.

Because the offensive line sucks and it effects the QB play, the offense is going to suck. Miami has the playmakers on the perimeter. The O-Line just doesn't allow our offense to get in any kind of rhythm, nor open lanes for the run game, nor allows the QB time to make plays.

It's really that simple. Once the O-Line play improves, the offense will come together and Miami will be potent.

Now if you want to say Searles is the problem, then okay, I will concede.

But, it isn't Richt. It's Golden's 2-3 star players that Richt inherited.

But, It IS Richt... Year 3 of his tenure and we can’t beat UVA? He’s the playcaller and he absolutely sucks at it, his son sucks as a QB coach but because it’s his son we’re stuck with him, he’s also suspiciously loyal to the 5th year Sr QB. How do you go to your redshirt freshman then pull him like that because your poor *** playcalling put him in bad spots consistently? One would think he’d rather let the younger guy go through the growing pains. Everytime I think about how this MF’r apologized for benching Malik after he stunk up the place against Pitt and then had pulled Perry so quickly it ****ed me off to the extreme. Don’t tell me it’s not Richt. It’s ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY Richt... Also 94 needs his scholarship revoked TONIGHT!!!

If the offensive line sucks sucks you schemes around it by not trying to run straight up the middle and calling quick pass plays like slants and bubble screens. On a side note, these short passes would also be useful in getting your young qb in a Rythm and building some confidence
