Observations on the UVA Game

One thing going unnoticed is how we can flip the field on a punt now. Gimme more tattooed 43 year old Aussies!

I think our secondary will continue to improve. Dubois and Reed are elite receivers. They got some grabs but we played them well for most of the night. That WR corp carved up the Notre Dame secondary so I think we may be underestimating UVA's talent on offense just a tad. We knew what they had on D.

Why do we have so many dropped balls? This seems to be a problem no matter WHO the coach is. Miami teams of the last fifteen years or so are so damned weak in the fundamentals. Amazed we won this game with so many errors. Credit Manny taking over the defense and holding UVA to FGs.He's going to have to find better assistants after this season. Penos is a real dud.

Eno's is handicapped by his offensive line, but yes, he is suspect as a OC. Thankfully, he WOKE UP in the critical fourth-quarter.
