Gameday Experience:
- No matter what anyone thinks from watching on TV the crowd was 65%+ Miami and it was a pretty sizable home field advantage.
- **** the guy in charge of the music. Played Wisky's jump around TWICE and zero Miami songs.
- **** the police/security **** that would let anyone out of the East Blue Lot after the game. Literally took an hour to get out when it normally takes 5 minutes.
Offense:
- Running game wasn't bad. We have gotten our yds in chunks all season and this was no different. 174 yds rushing with a 6.0 average.
- Rosier was a dumpster fire of dirty diapers and smelled like Bigfoot's ****. 3 completions for 41 yds in the 1H. The INT with the score 14-3 after the D just stopped Wisky was the game changer. He was just terrible overall other than a few runs and a couple of pass plays. 40% completion percentage with 3 INTs (could have easily been more) and a QBR of 20.8. He can't go through progressions in the pocket, doesn't throw with any accuracy allowing for YAC, and can't throw on the run (one nice TD after breaking contain but several bad across the body throws). Game plan has too be severely restricted by his inadequacies.
- Having no legit TE was a big problem.
- Game plan was supposed to have been to target Berrios a ton and he was matched up on on a LB with Safety help most of the game and wasn't involved other than one possession. Same possession which he caught two consecutive 10+ yd passes that ended in the INT in the endzone on clear PI and a terrible throw.
- No ability to convert 3rd downs and keep possession resulted in a 40 minutes to 20 minutes TOP differential which wore down the defense. Only converted 2 of 10 3rd downs!
- N'Kosi better win the job for next year. Rosier played well at times this year and is a gamer but he took us as far as he could.
Defense:
- I think they just got worn out from being on the field for 40 of 60 minutes and being relentlessly held.
- No QB pressure regardless of the holds not called.
- Not terrible against the run (3.2 yds per carry) but the shear number of runs (44) and the effect on TOP was exactly what Wisky's game plan to win was.
- 3rd down defense wasn't as bad as some are talking about considering there were several 3rd downs with less than 3 yds to go. 7 out of 15 this game.
- The DTs better come back. We need seniors in the trenches to take the next step next year.
- All three TD passes our DBs (Redwine, Delaney, JJ) were not looking at the ball. WTF.
- Secondary seemed a step slow. Made Hornibrook look like Johnny Unitas. Common theme this year for any pro-style QB we faced.
- Tackling was hot and cold. Needs to be consistent to take the next step.
Special Teams:
- Feagles was, dare I say, pretty good? Still could have used more hangtime and he doesn't seem to have follow through after making contact but 46.8 yd avg was great and hopefully he's got his **** together. Not having an NFL calibur punter cost us hundreds of yards of field position over the course of the season.
- Berrios at punt returner was underwhelming as usual. He fair catches everything. Not sure why we neither try to block the punt nor block for our returner.
- KO return game was trash as usual. Did we return one past the 50 yd line all season?
- BAD-ley was awful. Good career but wasn't even remotely close on the long FG attempt. Ended the game with his chip shot miss. He rarely kicks kickoffs out of the ******* endzone. Its demoralizing to the other team when you score and then the kicker booms it out of the back of the endzone.
Coaching:
- Not sure if the offense is so limited b/c of the personnel or b/c of lack of creativity. I literally am wondering if we don't use motion b/c it will give to much to Malik to think about pre-snap. I'm still giving the benefit of the doubt to Richt that he's trying to make chicken salad out of chicken ****.
- Special Teams needs an upgrade.
- DBs over-performed this season but were still carved up by too many ****** QBs (UVA, Pitt, Wisky).
