This does seem to be the running theory. I keep reading "National Championship Defense" or "Elite Defense". Because of the VT and Pitt games, primarily. Hey, hats off to the D, but an average offense still comes up short against Clemson this Saturday.

Yeah, this makes me angry. Knowing how good our defense was and that our $4 million QB guru of a head coach couldn't put an even mediocre offense on the field really sucks.
