Everyone knows this it isn't rocket science and the reason we go after what we do is because we don't have bags. We get a elite guy here and There but we need a lot and are afraid to get bodied on nsd

Sure, in a Utopia that sounds great. But it's a cart before the horse problem, IMO. As I've said many times on here, not a single kid in any HS in America right now has first hand experience with Miami being a winning program. The only association they have with Miami and winning are from tales their dads and uncles tell them. Kids want to go where they can win, and until we put a more competent-looking product on the field, we aren't going to land the marquee 5 star kids. Once we start winning again, they will start wanting to come again.

To think it works the other way around and the solution is to just miraculously start landing the top tier elite recruits is naive. There aren't that many Duke Johnson breeds. Most of the top tier guys aren't interested in playing for a team that can't win the Coastal and has gotten blown out basically every time they've been on a big national stage for as long as those kids have been watching football.

Let's win some games that matter first. We already have enough talent to do that.
