Now for something positive- Corn Elder

Should have redshirted as a freshman. Why did it take him so long to get on the field. **** could play both ways.

He'll be gone after this year. Then after we lose 5-6 games next off season he'll be regarded as a ME guy and hurt team chemistry

For ****'s sake. This a Corn Elder thread. Let's talk about Corn Elder, please.

Best feet for a UM CB since P-Buch. He's exactly the type of athlete the NFL loves to have on one side of the field now. I'm terrified both he and Burns leave at the same time (early).

If he shines against Cinncy,Fl State, Clemson and Va Tech, he can make an early exit to the Draft with my blessing because he deserves it...That's four games to get on every NFL's draft board...

Type of guy becoming more and more important...utility guy in the slot. Love his game so far this season, if we had a truly inspired defensive staff we would move him around like FSU does with Ramsey.

I'd like to see the staff move Burns and Bush around much more. We've seen it in very rare flashes (late blitzes, etc.). Would love to see more of it and it become a staple of their looks. At this point, 3-4 years later, I obviously don't expect it. Would just be nice to see. It'd be sad for people to look back at this defense and say something like:

"We had Elder, Bush, Burns, Grace in the back 7 and didn't take more chances with our front?"

Wondered how long before some whiny toddler would come in with his complaints and silly comments.
Yup. If he's to aggressive he might just find himself on the bench behind a walk on. Kinda like how Carter was behind fentress

his feet reminds me of brent grimes. great feet...he doesnmt get crossed up much.

They need to start upgrading that cb spot...because both of those kids are nfl ready imo..

Elder has some size limitations...but skill wise he is there....he actually plays run suppot well to....and obviously has return skills.

* i feel like they didnt hit on the cb spot like needed. So this class they need to bring in some guys that can play right away.
