Short of an asteroid hitting Columbus and wiping out both schools, not sure of another game where I HATE both schools with as much passion as these two.

so give us a dispassionate reason to root for one outcome over another in this game.

(And no UF- FSU is not one because I hate UF more unless fsu losing impacts us)

From a College football perspective it is two of the most prestigious brands of all time. Two top 5 teams (this season).
An interesting story line since ND's coach used to play in Columbus.

On the other hand most of us here hate both programs. Not to mention I assume the game could get boring really quick if O$U's offense lives up to the hype and they build up an early lead. Could be a blowout before the first quarter ends.

If the game were in South Bend it might make it a bit more intriguing to tune in but in Columbus it feels like we know what the ending is going to be before kickoff.

i want Ohio State to fumble the ball ten yards from goal, but the now ball less RB crosses the goal line and a TD is declared. And replay confirms it.

I want Ohio State called for pass interference in a crucial situation in the end zone, even if no defender is there.

I want high priority recruits to leave in disgust.

I want both teams to be so bored with the game that they decide to lay down on the field, do snow angels for a few minutes, then ask the referee to have the big screen changes to show the Miami Bethune game.

1st off, f*** both teams as a staff, record label, and as a mfing crew. And if you wanna be down with either of them b****es then f*** you too!!!

I don't care about any of these teams. Nobody should be picking a side. May they both lose.

This game won’t live up to the hype and can’t stomach watching both uniforms. I’ll be watching Utah hopefully winning at Canesville.

Ehh I mean I guess we’re in a more recruiting battles against Ohio state than nd?

Some unique insight as my kid goes there and I have season tickets. Always despised the Irish but now all my hate goes to the Gators. If the QBs were flipped the line would somewhere between -4 and -7. Notre Dame has a good team, likely back of the top 10 type. Very hard to win today on the road with the QB matchup. BTW on the ND first day ceremony two weeks ago, there was only one guy throwing up the U. 🙌

Always 110% Canes for life.

What does it say about college football when the gap between "2" and "5" is 16 points?

I do find it funny that Manny's defense allowed 31 points and yet Golden's is expected to allow even more. Looks like Blake Baker's Missouri defense allowing 24 might be the best of the weekend.

That the drop off between 1-3 and the rest of the country is massive.
