Interesting article in The Athletic about the extra measures ND's athletic department is taking to prevent the stadium from being overrun with Buckeye fans.

UGA turning Notre Dame Stadium into a sea of red in 2017 was what prompted these efforts.

Probably can guess the answer, but has Miami ever done anything to limit the number of opposing fans when we play FSU or UF?

Not as egregious, but apparently Clemson is being cute with Forfeit State's ticket allotment this week, too. Apparently they only allocated a few hundred lower bowl seats that pretty much went exclusively to Legacy Chiefs ($25K+) and a few Platinum Chiefs. Even the guys at Golden Chief level got stuck in the upper deck. And instead of cutting a cross section of the stadium, they spread the nOLES throughout the upper deck.

Hate to see it.

how many folks here remember when ohio state clinched a spot in the BCS championship game 3 weeks before the Canes did. Several thousand ohio state fans joined the Hurricane Club just to get access to tickets to the Fiesta Bowl. The ENTIRE STADIUM was buckeye fans.

Clemson is literally doing the same thing with Florida State this weekend. Prevented the Noles' band from traveling to the game and is putting all FSU fans in the nose-bleeds. Dabo gonna Dabo. Irish gonna Irish.

I have a bias, but not sure I understand how we can still despise Notre Dame more than OSU. Will be in South Bend and expecting 25,000 loud ********.
