In no way shape or form does SMU being good benefit us lol. If they find their footing, that's an alumni base that will throw money the likes the ACC hasn't seen before for recruits lol. Only thing good about them being good is if we beat them and it boosts the resume.

A stronger conference because of stronger teams

Another team that can take players from Texas and aTm.

But ….i guess if you guys want every team in the ACC to be crappy that can’t bring in good talent…..that makes no sense.

I’d rather see us play great teams (and win) in prime time matchups instead of having us play weak teams on that are televised on ESPN 8 while other conferences get better TV coverage.

And it only boosts the resume if they are a good/ranked team….not a team with crappy record

I won't argue. Theoretically if Clemson Miami SMU and one other team can be 10 win prpgrams every year the ACC will have a legit argument for 3 or 4 spots in the playoff annually just like the SEC or B1G

Hey ...... Let's focus on beating teams we're supposed to be beating every year (*cough GT *cough cough*) instead of hoping our opponents get stronger for conference purposes.

I think we've been infiltrated and fake UM fans have been planted. I miss those old days when we just cared about us being good and to kill EVERYONE.
