We're closer than you think. We needed this game for so many reasons. We fought til the end. Penalties and drop passes have to get fixed even Blades dropped a TD. I said in a previous thread a few days ago momentum will come down to a play early that will decide the outcome and it was Roche being offsides and Clemson scoring on the next play.

If he's not offside momentum is on our side.

Against the top teams you have to play assignment football and we didn't tonight. Lesson learned. Still we have a great season in front of us. All I ***c with is the U.

The game was not as close as the final score. If Dabo doesnt have a brain fart with the the field goal attempt before half it a total blow out. Zero offense all night. All I heard was how Clemson was so bad no O line no D line and weak secondary. Only beat Virginia by 18. Its Clemson and everyone else in the ACC period.
 
Yeah we aren’t close
They have better coaches that don’t leave
They have better players
And
They keep kids for four years
Their culture is outstanding
And
They have MONEY and are in it to win it

Miami is playing at a $2 crap table downtown while Clemson is upstairs in private room playing for keeps...we are NOT close
 
We aren’t playing the same game as Clemson yet. Straight up. But you have to give yourself a chance to recruit at that level. The only way we are going to do that is win all the games we are supposed to win. We got all riled up and in a circle jerk thinking we could hang with Clemson. This teams hasn’t lost a regular season game in 3 years. We had to play perfect and then they had to have a down game. Now the players have seen it first hand. Time to focus on getting another shot

Roche was NOT offsides. That was one of many terrible calls by the zebras tonight, as usual.

Clemson is the better team, no doubt about it. But the motherfukken refs set the tone from the get go,

These Clempson ***gots have snuck into my list of most hated teams. They were even using the hurry up offense at the end to try to score once more.

Manolo is a bytch. I would’ve punched Dabo in his face after the game. Just keepin it real.

Problem is our history over past 15 years is to let a loss like this linger for a month

manny’s got to earn his money and get them ready to go curb stomp Pitt

I am not overly optimistic about that happening though
