If scholarship offers equate to a players anticipated college performance then we made a haul with these guys...
Norton had 27 valid offers
Cager had 32 valid offers
Gordinier had 20 valid offers. Almost 80 Schollys between them...

When I see Ala-USC-Fl State-Fl.-Georgia-Oak-Neb-The Ohio State U(sucks just to say it) Penn State-Tenn-Mich were all after these guys I have to turn a little bit of my cheek to Al

Those scholarship offers reported by sites are self reported by the kids, so there is some level of inconsistency. With a guy like Norton, for instance, he may have been offered by some big schools as a OG, but he only wanted to play DT, and the number of schools that would have taken him there was less impressive.

Also, a lot of these numbers are padded by little crappy schools offering them. The only time a Western Michigan offer matters is if it is the ONLY other school that offered.

All 3 have a chance to be good players here, but predictions for future success should not be based on the offer counts reported by recruiting sites.

Demetri Stewart had like 50 offers as I recall.

Yeah Most wanted Norton as a guard. An "offer" isn't always the same as a "commitable offer" too.
