Miami fans will be surprised/aghast to learn Mark D'Onofrio is a Broyles Award nominee.

Along with having a "Top 20" defense there is no chance in **** he fires his boy.......sorry folks

Good. If he makes staff changes that gives Gluten an excuse to stay beyond 2015. If this mother ****** is actually going to be around next year then better it be with his complete staff so we can finally get rid of the cancer at the conclusion of next season.

Broyles Award candidates are nominated by FBS head coaches. Each head coach can pick one assistant.

Miami's defensive coordinator getting nominated for an award devalues not only that award but any award in any profession.
 
Seems like nobody really follows the program, they all believe we have top notch coaching, they should spend some time around here and we will change their minds.

This what people don't get tho. The defense was horrible and we lost 5 games. The defense is top 20 and we lost 5 games (and counting). Maybe DOnofrio isn't the problem....

U want to fire the DC just so U can see blood but it doesn't change the fact that we will lose 4 or 5 games continuing to operate the program as they do
 
I guess it's another wasted year, with another f ing excuse! Whatever, Al knows he is one step closer to his buyout money, just hope he jumps at the first opportunity to leave miami. If someone comes calling...... Doubt it tho

People get it. It wasn't someone from the outside. The tweet with the relevant information is in this thread. Head coaches can nominate their assistants for the award. Golden nominated his guy. Guy is as self-serving as you can be. Either that or delusional
