No Quit out there

That’s a very big deal! With all of the mistakes and bonehead plays the guys didn’t quit.
I expect a big game this week against Pitt.
Ive said it several a couple of times, we smash Pitt and everyone will be singing a different song.

Perspective matters, we lost to #1 team on the road. It happens we just need to bounce back.

Clemson hasn't lost a game @ Death Valley in 4 years & Trevor Lawrence was 32-1 coming into the game.

Idk wtf people on this board expected, I warned mf's all **** week that this was gonna be an extremely tough game but people just psyched themselves up into delusion.

We definitely didn't quit, we were just outmatched & there wasn't anything that could be done about it.

As long as we get everybody healthy as we begin the Coastal (even though there's no Coastal this year) stretch of the season we'll be fine. Aside from UNC, we don't face any other Offenses that pose a great threat.

The issue will come down to Baker not being a complete dunce & rallying this Defense into to playing more discipline & playing with more urgency, he has the bodies, he just needs to pull his head out of his *** & get them better prepared.

Pitt has a tough Defense but Miami can beat them, they're not anywhere near as talented as Clemson, just have play smart & stop shooting ourselves in the foot with dumb penalties.

A lot of posters here severely underestimate how good Clemson is. We
played below our ability and they played a very good and motivated game. Clemson struggles with teams when they don’t have a concern about possibly losing to them, all everyone said was Miami was going to give Clemson a game so they were focused and it showed. I still like who we are and think we’re gonna have a great season.

This was Clemson's first big game after getting thrashed by LSU in the title game. There was no way we were going to sneak up on them the way Pitt, NC State, Syracuse have in the past. However, we play a stupid brand of ball that will lead to more losses. You don't get ejected for targeting, line up offside, or hit a guy late if you're 100% focused on your assignment and not thinking about being the one who'll make the next big play. It's the culture that Diaz has fostered. Clemson players have to be ALL IN and it shows. They're not out there for themselves the way Miami appears to be, they're out there for each other.

You can't quit if you failed to show up and our starting LB's failed again.
Etienne is an NFL RB but he's not Superman...we made him look that way

The players penalties are on the players! Our problem not only players but poor game planning by coaches! Struggling to make a first down was shocking to me! I didn’t expect a win but to get smacked like a group of 5 program was shocking!

Watch the Alabama game from last year when Lawrence was a frosh -44-16 Clemson. The they click, they click. Dabo has worked for a decade building the monster they have become.

I did notice this, with the richt regime we legit would deflate the minute the other team had a big play. We were getting smacked and they kept coming and trying their best. Obviously it was a horrible game for us and the players no it better than us after watching that tape over and over again to try and fix mistakes

I was happy with the defense for the most part minus not being initially prepared with Clemson’s staple offensive plays.

Was really disappointed in the offense and the lack of adjustments coming off a bye. If you were game planning against this offense, you would have done exactly what Clemson did especially with their CBs.

How do we come out relying on these WRs to make contested catches? And when that wasn’t working I never saw an adjustment.

I thought this offense was supposed to be simple. Why aren’t the young WRs playing? If the plan was to beat them vertical to soften them up why not try the younger guys since the current WRs are basically kickers when the ball is in the air?

I wonder if things would’ve went a little differently had Roche’s toenail wasn’t offsides. We would’ve still lost but may have been more competitive.

It's not the getting psyched that bothered me, it's the belief that a loss is an indication that the sky is falling that I don't understand.

Miami never quit a game last year, either. I don’t even understand why this is even being brought up. This team may be a lot of things but quitters isn’t one of them.

You thought we were going to get beat down like that? That we would completely no show on offense? That we wouldn't move the ball at all and have as many penalty yards and offensive yards for much of the game?
