Time and time again I think Mario plays too nice to refs and media. Guy to be a champion Hurricane misses the fundamentals. Be authentically you. He portrays toughness but wants to be loved. I think he missed the real lesson from Saban. Win at any cost. Saban adapted his team to whatever it needed to be to win. When Lane Kiffin, Steve Sarkisan, and Jeremy Pruitt had stains on their names for various reasons, Saban brought them in under his wing fro what they could do for his program. Forget NCAA and other people's feelings. One mission and accomplish the mission by any means necessary. Mario seemed to have misunderstood that lesson. Im still in on Mario turning it around due to getting players on campus thar we were not getting before..But the only way he wins big here is he has to adapt or leave. Forget being nice, Forget being loved. Become the most hated by winning by any means. Fire Dawson (thanks for your service but he isn't cutthroat enough to tell Mirabel that's its my run game fix the **** oline). Go get Art Briles if he doesnt have a show cause and say ***** the NCAA. Build a fast paced vertical power offense and dominate. It's all in front of Mario but will he be too stubborn to adapt. If not he can be butch Davis and load the roster the gtfo and let somebody else take the players he recruit and win..

Saban bought his players and his championships when it wasn’t allowed. Saban wouldn’t be who he was in today’s college football. Like @Cribby said, you need Xs n Os in coaching. The best players in the country are no longer playing at one school anymore. They’re all over the country.

Has nothing to do with being nice or not.

Has to do with being competent.

Mario is not too nice. He’s just not sufficiently competent.

I wish the Mario had gone all Bobby Knight on the officials after that flag was picked for PI.... I don't know.. throw the medical tent or warming bench on to the field or something

All Mario had to say was, "If Clemson thinks they got screwed, I can send them some tape of our season," and it wouldn't have cost him one cent.

Mario doesn't do anything "outside the box". ( just check out the running game)

You think Saban was going golfing during the season on Sundays? The day after the game and the day they come in, review Saturdays game and lay the foundation for the next game?
