Are the alums still following him to Columbus High?

LOL at dopes who tried to defend a strength guy who couldn't even go in the gym to train the players because he didn't have his **** in order. Pantomime Coach Swasey.

"Hey, there's Coach Swasey outside the window. He tapped his shoulder 3 times and then rubbed his stomach. Does that mean we do shoulders and then abs, or is he just hungry?"

He might have been the worst strength coach in FBS but why discuss him now?

" Everybody do 500 situps and 3x10 on shoulder press, than I'll reward you kids with Mcdonalds an chocolate ice cream" -Swasey

Swasey was a good man and has a resume unmatched by many. Don't lose your minds over a 3-0 start against FAMU, FAU and Appalachian State.

By all means enjoy the success but it is WAY to early for the BIG HEAD and ARROGANCE.

As of now we should enjoy the success and leave the rest alone.

Coach Swasey was one of the top strength coaches that we ever had. Like all great coaches they have their run. Yesterday you cheered for Swasey's staff and today you don't. You're now repeating the cycle with Coach Gus and staff. When his run ends you will turn on him to.

Dude names himself after a Cuban beef dish and tries to be the solemn voice of reason.

Golden couldn't even look him in the eyes

Golden actually recognized Swasey's incompetence but didn't fire him because of player pressure. I'm not sure which is worse- that or not recognizing Swasey's incompetence. (Which was the case with Coker and Shannon.)

I can't figure out for the life of me why Coker decided to fire Soldinger but kept Swasey on staff for 6 years.

What evidence is there to support this claim other than the infamous and meaningless "players come back to train with him!" anecdote?

What are we doing to him? Don't leave us hanging.

He couldn't even be in the weight room, that's unacceptable, and craps all over his alleged resume. Swasey, if he was anywhere near competent would have been able to find a job at the college level, there's a reason why he's working at a high school.

Dang, Chise, that is like one of your most profound post ever. Who thought you have such a wide scope of knowledge. Unless you are Cuban, and then it is knowing your own food and not a big deal.
