it's Chris Dominguez it was announced a few days ago. He was on the coaching staff in a volunteer role in 2020.

Honest opinion I don't mind it, but i have heard that no one wants to coach with this staff honestly. Have to respect Chris for coming down and trying to help us get back to where we were.
There's a real possibility that we could be looking for an entire new coaching staff next year, so its not easy to convince a coach to join this staff.

i swear it doesnt seem hard to build the baseball program when comparing to football. Frustrating they cant put money/time/thought into this program.

you would be surprised honestly brother. Its been 9 years since we have made an Omaha run. That is almost one decade. Kids in the 2026 class were 6-7 years old when we last made our Omaha run. Also have heard we do not have an ace recruiter on the staff which is a concern. With the scholarship limits, cost of tuition and not winning ball games in the postseason. That is why we are in the position we are in currently, and it's going to take a lot to get out of this spotLol. Soooo all sunshine this season!!!

It needs to happen and hopefully the administration gets the hire right this time. I miss having a great UM Baseball program!

Is the plan to have a new staff in when scholarships are expanded? I am all set for this year being even worse than last year so its not a big deal.
