What's currently unfolding today at Ole Miss is wild -

People can be bothered by Mario's process and how tight-lipped the program is with literally everything. However, if you aren't buttoned up then you'll end up like Ole Miss.

We should take a look at Dottery (just jumped into the portal)

Dottery was committed to Mario at Oregon, but signed with Clemson, got caught taking pics of Clemson players in locker room, got kicked off team, changed name now is at Ole Miss.

Previously T.J. Dudley
Yikes….thats a no thanks for $500. If I’m assuming correctly when you say taking pics of dudes - which I have to be correct as there’s zero logical explanation for that except 1 thing.

Trying to build his legacy by bringing up how much he was offered and turned down, because his on field legacy wasn't impressive enough to hold up by itself.
Yup, if you weren’t gonna take it just take the high road and know you had real value and you chose your own path you thought best.

Putting it out there that I turned down X amount of dollars because I don’t want my legacy of losing to one of the worst FSU teams ever, getting blown out in the SEC championship game and by a team most easily identified by as a basketball school with a coach who tossed a chair on court. I guess we should respect his decision as ludicrous as it is lol

I mentioned this in other threads - this is why you don't just overpay out of desperation. You not only take into account your entire budget, but you have to understand kids/families talk, agents lie to boost future contracts, etc.....and new deals with players could upset current players if the value doesn't make sense or isn't comparable to position/talent. It's a delicate balance that can blow up real quick bc college kids are so impulsive.
