Those are the schools that benefited from Oak Cliff splitting up and in essence black flight out of that area once the southern suburbs opened up. I grew up in Dallas, and it's been amazing to see the growth of the southern suburbs from what they were back when I was there. The kids that once upon a time ended up at Kimball and Carter are now at Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville etc.
