All true and accurate but Saban wasn’t whining about the good of the game during the facility arms race or the increase in coaching staff and their salaries and how they impacted school budgets etc. (especially since he was benefiting from it) he didn’t open his mouth until players started getting paid and the dynamics switched. Nothing ruined the game for him except losing his grip

Right on point. Saban helped create the system & benefitted greatly. His holier than thou comments are nauseating.

Why do you think that would happen? Unless you are assuming all the SEC teams will cheat and exceed it under the table and Miami wont be able to get away with that?
I would say when things are equal, Marios relentless recruiting will win out.

Of course they will cheat and provide the extra bag under the table.

I don’t want a cap on anything. Let the market decide. Those ***ers cheated for decades and now they are crying because their car dealership can’t compete anymore w above board pay!!!

We need to win at least one championship with the current system. Nothing lasts forever and in this country the richest and most powerful will always get the rules put in their favor. Miami is an outsider. The ole boys club of the sec will get what they want and we will be at a disadvantage.

Nick is a funny guy. He played a large part moving the game to where it is now - massive staff & analyst, crazy salary & stipulating he be the highest paid, very successful recruiting approach, etc. Then, uses his stature to land a nice Mercedes dealership.
Now, he’s banking money as a face of ESPN’s college football coverage & tops it off by collecting $1 million in a deal to be a regular on McAfee’s show.

.Nick owns multiple, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari, and Toyota dealerships, in multiple states worth hundreds of millions $$$$.

He parlayed his fame and fortune into a multi car dealerships and he has a workforce obviously at all those locations....he is banking money, so the ESPN gig is pocket change and gets him away from Miss Terry who watches him like a hawk.

The question for me is how much did he bag over all those years without any accountability?.....
Hypocritical if you asked me as he kept our Canes out while the SEC flourished while pilfering our talent.
