I appreciate it hopefully he sticks to his word cuz it's a position of need

Let me guess, there is a 100% chance he will commit to be 50-80% committed

Apparently he is Shaq's teamate and has family in Miami. His family wants him to commit and it said Shaq has been in his ear. Great job Shaq. Some of you need to get a life with all this negative crap already. Kid is a beast and I am grateful for Shaq putting in work and the fact he has family here is works for me.

Roberts will be visiting in July with Shaq and 2017 LB commit Aundre Kearney, look for him to commit then.

My comment is not knock on the kid just the recruitment process in general. I'm glad Shaq is recruiting this kid and its great if the kid wants to commit if he is truly committed. However most juniors don't know where they want to go to school or what may happen to the program they commit to 2 years before signing their LOI.

Thats why the whole recruiting process needs an overhaul. They should get rid of NSD an go to a rolling admissions process were scholarship offers can only start going out the summer of the players senior year. The player could then sign their LOI at anytime up until a certain point and if coaching changes occurred the player would be released from their LOI.

This would stop the dreaded I'm committed but only 50% and the comittable/non committable offer fiasco.

I don't think his film is amazing or anything...but then you remember he's a sophomore and you realize how good he is! This guy will be a monster!

I talked with him yesterday after he returned from a Mich satelite camp in Atlanta.. He wants in.. I don't want to sway based on my likes but he says he wants Miami... He will be with me and Shaq on our next visit to Miami... He's good .. has natural instinct to the ball... runs a 4.5 but seems faster on the field..and he will come and stick his fac3 in the fan to make a tackle...

So true he wanted to commit when he was offered... His coaching staff and I agree he should wait and see other schools..to make certain..he keeps telling me that he is...

I don't think his film is axing or anything...but then you remember he's a sophomore and you realize how good he is! This guy will be a monster!
All state as a Soph... I think his numbers go down this year.. He is now known in the area.. teams will play away from him.. last year we had a 6'4 corner on the other side so teams would always go at Nick not knowing he was our better corner

few things i notice about his tape UKnow. a few of his picks are horrific throws by the QB and he takes advantage (which is something in it self not every DB capitalises on those.) and the others are his coverage and instincts which are great, he seems to be quick out of his breaks. there was one play on his tape where he runs across the whole field dives and breaks up the pass. (that had me like  ) As you've said it's clear he isn't afraid to come up and tackle that's really good to see, i don't see that from a high school CB these days.

But just out of curiosity where does UF stand because i thought i read on 247 a few months ago that he had committed to them.

No he has not committed to UF.. as a matter of fact I he went with Shaq and I on a visit to UF.. he likes UF but not committed... I think its the pipelining in effect... Darion.. is one reason Shaq likes UM and they both will be a reason Nick likes UM... our QB is Cane legacy the nephew of Benny, Brian and Al Blades..he was at the Camp last weekend along with Jack...and his opinion is was Jack is a legit QB.. any body going there to compete against him is crazy..
