A lot of us grew up in Miami and have fond memories of Nick Buoniconti and the No Name Defense. We remember him from his advocacy for his son and his efforts to cure paralysis. He was also a trustee of the university and his passing shouldn't just be forgotten.

How about throwing a few extra dollars to the Miami Project to cure paralysis?

a worthy cause. had many friends who did research at Miami project in undergrad. really good work being done by that place.

I knew Nick from his Dolphin days and his law practice. A very good man. It was always costly to have a cup of coffee with him after he started The Miami Project. Eventually, I just started writing the check when I saw him walking toward me.

Requiescat in pace my friend. Yeah, I’ll send another check.

Great player. True person who helped and served the community--leaves behind a tremendous legacy.

He bled orange and green as much as teal and white.
