That is a common trend we've heard about our staff under Shannon, Golden and Richt. "Oh they are super nice guys" "really down to earth" "great family men" is something that's been consistent from the media about the guys we are expecting to close premier South Florida talent and develop talent in 3-4 years. There is a saying for a reason that nice guys finish last and something that has been a very underrated and unspoken part of our mediocrity. We need some "I don't give a bleep" assassins on staff that are okay with ruffling some feathers who just have that inner ******* in them. It feels that Miami has been so image conscious with our past and the guys that coached out at our peak were all that personality described above. Dabo Swinney is the only successful head coach I can think of that appears to be a nice guy and is rare because their vetting process and culture is so unique that he can pull it off. I've been on record saying that no offense changes are going to happen and stand by that but whenever the time comes to make changes we need a guy(s) that are stone cold killers that are willing to bust balls and get the wins. Happy New Year all

My biggest knock on Richt minus him being senile is how chill he is. Dude has no fire or gameday passion. He’s like the box lighter while trying to light one caddie on a birthday cake but never catches a flame.

Nice guys don't win championships. Richt is a nice guy, he won't win a ship here. We need a coach who isn't going to take shxt from anyone.
