Even people on here try to downplay Miami nfl success in the pros like we haven’t been putting guys in the league lately but this is interesting stat nonetheless, while it’s not how it used to be in the early 2000s we still have impactful guys and they are getting PAID. Can’t say the guys who are making the top dollar amounts from Miami are guys near the end of their career other than greg Olsen either or the rememants from the early 2000 teams because there aren’t any of those left other than gore and he doesn’t make much

Amazing! After over a decade of mediocrity, we are still NFL U.

This type of info should be advertised constantly by anyone recruiting.

And to think the way recruiting is improving every year, we might actually be able to remain in that top spot.

Alabaga players are great in college, and some in the NFL, but most seem to be average once they hit the league. Reputation may have a lot to do with it.

You just said it: Reputation

Who truly has the reputation as the premier school to develop HIGH CALIBER NFL TALENT?

In all honesty, it’s a testament to Saban’s evals that he can pull together the best classes and win with them, but under-index in NFL outcomes. He knows what he is looking for. He specifically seems to target kids who are more developed as HS players, and more physically ready early. They may well not have the ceiling that some less developed kids have, but he builds depth and competition and has a physical team. When he faces a Clemson with Watson, he is vulnerable but short of that, they seem to be good at grinding it out.
