With all the turmoil surrounding the team right now - Richt's inept play calling, the O-line's inability to block anything, Kaaya's regression, WR's lacking the ability to get consistently open, etc - the team is sitting at a revolting 4-4. This season is a lost cause with the exception being giving underclassmen some reps in real-game scenarios.

I usually like to give coaches at least 2 1/2 to 3 years in order to allow them to fully implement their style of play and usher in a few recruiting classes. This is not the case as of right now. A Golden-led team was with virtually the same offensive players was able to go 8-5 last year and even HE as one of THE sh**iest coaches I've ever seen technically won the coastal (remember we forfeited that away during the Shapiro fiasco). Against a less talented FSU, North Carolina (as compared to last year), and an absolutely horrendous ND, our offense overseen by Richt himself is averaging a tick under 20 ppg (19.7). Their (FSU, UNC and ND) defenses this year rank in terms of PPG 73rd, 60th, and 66th, respectively. Absolutely unacceptable.

The scariest thing isn't even what we're seeing on the field as of now. We lose out best WR in Coley next year, and what does that leave? Richards no doubt is a future stud, but Mullins hasn't even grasped the playbook, Berrios isn't even being used properly as a Slot WR, and I don't feel comfortable listing Cager or Dayall Harris high-end WR's. We need guys that can create separation because our O-line can't protect jack sh*t. Speaking of OL, We better hope NaVaughn Donaldson sticks as he will start day 1, but there's 4 other men that all realistically belong on the pee-wee field. No matter how talented Walton, Yearby, or Homer can be, they'll never have success running behind this sh*t show.

The defense has been the only bright spot, and our front 4 + LB should be fantastic next year, but who do we have in the secondary??? Elder - gone. Colbert - gone. Redwine - not great. Mayes - jesus christ did you see him get abused on that 1 route no way he can start. Carter + Jenkins - gone (although that might not be the worst thing). Right needs to bring in some DB's ASAP or find a way to score 35+ every game.

I pray we see some adjustments or its gonna be another year of same old pre-season hype followed by disappointment and frustration.

I hate to say it but you are absolutely right, new coaches forst recruiting class is usually really good so this one needs to be top 5 to 10

He will be here for the next 3 years and will be calling plays for at least 2 of them. It is what it is

If the fan heat grows as fast as it had before he'll be gone sooner.

Doubt it. Most of this is overreacting from Internet fan boys who couldn't coach themselves. This reminds me of Richt's 1st year at UGA....he went 8-4 then....but went 13-1 and 11-2 the next two years. This is no easy fix....and if we fired him, no coach worth a **** would come here after firing an experienced coach and not giving him time to fix the program

If Mcdermott or Searles is on the team next year, I dont give a dam who we land in recruiting, we dont want to win.

You kidding? We are stuck with this clown as long as he wants to be here. Get used to it.

Forget next year. This SUMMER is do or die. We'll know everything we need to know about Richt during the offseason.

If he admits his mistake and hires a dedicated OC...I think we'll be fine. If he insists on continuing to call plays it will be time to start flying banners.

***ing lol.. all true frosh and maybe some juco transfers on our o line next year, entirely new secondary, entirely new wr corps basically...

and what's worse is kayaa may still be here and even if he isn't, it's a brand new year for whomever wins that job

it won't be till 2018 at the very least, get over it

So next year when the ol and DBs are younger, or a freshman or true freshman starting possibly playing QB. Keep things in perspective. Next year will look a lot like this year, the year after there needs to be huge improvement.

As if you all are in any position to make demands on this program.

We're just the only people that give a **** about it...cause obviously those appointed with the custodial responsibilities don't and are clueless with their decision making. The self infliction we've seen the last 12 + years is already on a legendary level. I have no doubt richt will get sacred cow treatment considering our inept administration.

Every pass to Berrios down field hits him & bounces off him, or the CB is step for step with him...

He's Elusive and should be running shorter routes, slants so he's in front of the DB, or Screen passes and let him break one for a long gain

If you are expecting drastic changes next year you're in for a big disappointment. This is a 4 year rebuild.
