Next 3 games decide season and Golden....

We lose 2 of the next 3. AND a total of 6 games this year. NOT because of talent issues but due to a stubborn, rigid, insane, and irrational philosophy named Al Golden.

I hate it for the players and fans of this very proud program.

Sadder that he has no inkling how to correct the situation.
 
Win the Coastal and 10 regular season games, or pack the bags. The rest is window dressing.

LULZ at getting any participation points for beating Arkansas State, Nebraska, or stank *** Duke. You have to be at the point in year 4 where you EXPECT to beat those nothing clubs. If you're not, then that alone should be a fireable offense.
 
Rooting for your team to lose is not what a fan is. Frankly, its immature and pathetic. And again, whether you like it or not, Golden's job is NOT in jeopardy as of right now.

I honestly think this year goes two ways:


Out talent advantage and playmakers allow us to hold the ship together with one more loss over the next 5 until we hit the VT-UNC-FSU stretch, where we lose (at least) two of three. Most of the fanbase freaks out when it becomes apparent that 8-4 is enough to save Golden's job.

We drop at least 2 or more against Arky St, Neb, Duke, GT, and Cincinnati, in which case the VT-UNC-FSU stretch serves as the nail in the proverbial coffin. People bring up that Golden should be held to the same standards that Shannon was (7-5 or worse in his 4th year gets him fired), the University still struggles with the obvious, but, eventually, the 'R' word gets thrown around, forcing Donna and the BOT to act.

Win the coastal or you are gone. It's that simple.

This program used to be held to a standard of national championships.

Then it was BCS games and beating FSU

Then it was simply winning the division so u can get worked by FSU

Now it's beat Duke and a Nebraska team who barely avoided OT against an FCS team and you deserve another year.

****...the Arkansas state fans have expectations of going to a BCS game while we hope that Duke doesn't score 7 touchdowns on us

Historically in ACC play, under both Golden and Shannon, we will probably beat Duke, GT, VT, UNC, and upset FSU. But we'll drop UVA or Pitt and that'll allow VT to squeak into the ACCCG.

For todays game, I'm clearly rooting for a Canes win.

That said, if at any point during the game it's clear they are going to lose, I won't be rooting for some miracle come back. If he dies... he dies.
