New York Canes

Their black beans and white rice are fine. He is talking about the more complicated dishes. He is correct too. However, their are some more fancy places that do some decent Cuban food. But ask my man @Dwinstitles The puerto rican food, domincan food, Columbian and all that out in NYC and NJ are the best in the country.

Especially when that good food is cooked at NY/NJ casa de la gorditas. Afterward you may not get your 10K steps in, but you will get it in you feel me!

Go Canes

they not lying bout that food and bodega spots man and that chinese, **** real. My brother live in sfla and said the food aint touching NJ or NY thats the hardest part to get used to mane.
1. Why do you think it’s so hard to get the OL recruits????? No Chinese buffets
2. It’s too hot and humid to cook cat and dog in SFL, hence no Chinese food places

I'm not gonna sit here and let you'll cowards diss Chicago food--the best food city in the country. Not only for deliciousness, but also the sheer variety of good *** food that you can get.

Pizza? We got that in spades. And I'm not only talking about deep dish. Even thought that's what we're most known for. We got all kinds of pizza joints that serve phenomenal tavern style pizza. If you can't find a good pie in Chicago, then you're not even trying.

Greek food all over the place.

Chinese food? We got that covered.

Italian beefs, Maxwell polishes and hot dogs all day!

We got all kind of fire Mexican joints with the best tacos, burritos and tortas you can ask for.

You wanna go upscale? We have some of the best steak houses in the country in this here city.

And you mutha****as have no idea about mild sauce!

Put some respeck on Chicago's name!
And Harold’s fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had

Between this and the popeyes thread , y’all have a ninja starving!

NYC food is the top tier weather that’s quick bite front the bodega , pizza , pr/Dominican food, Mediterranean I’ve had some of the most Fire falafel

Nola is top tier as well , but not as much as much variety but they do what they do at elite level .. I love the creole, Cajun flavors

Chicago I expected more .. Harold’s was good , Portillo was good.. deep dish I’m not a big fan .. still kills Miami , but I expected more from the Chi .. however , I like Chicago the city as a whole

He isnt lying. I go up there once a year to just eat and drink lol

I'm one of the rare birds who moved up north to NJ / NYC after living in Miami for basically all my life. Miami definitely has Cuban on lock. I would say the sushi is up to par as well. Matsuri is still my favorite non-fancy sushi place ...freshest tasting sashimi you'll find. Oh and wings, nothing like Sports Grill special grilled up here! Everything else - pizza, bagels, chinese (especially), bbq (legit texas style exists here), Burgers, Steaks, Jamaican, etc. etc. is totally superior here in the Tri-State area.

Wasn't there a famous deli in Miami Beach called "Wolfe's" or something like that? Heard/read it was great...A classic...

Delicatessens delicacies are delicious, you haven't lived until you have eaten from a good deli.

A close approximation in Orlando is a Food truck called the pastrami project. @caneinorlando

If you need a quick Bacon, egg and cheese that is almost on par with a Deli try Meson Sandwiches they are chain out of Puerto Rico that has expanded to Orlando, FL

http://mesonsandwiches.com

Or try Melao's Bakery they only have 2 locations an are local to Orlando/Kissimmee but the food is made with latin love. It's a latin version of cross between deli counter sandwiches and a diner. Their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich should be illegal, or investigated as a factor in post consumption narcolepsy.

FAIR WARNING THE LINES OUR OUT THE DOOR MOST OF THE TIME at Melao!

I go there...Food is insane....In the a.m I get the guava pastries and Taquitos....stupid good...

When I was living and Chefing in St Pete in 87 I used to go to Tarpon Springs to the Sponge Docks, and eat at Plaka1....talk about Insane food....

NYC is the top dog when it comes to food. Period. Although, I must admit, they don't have the best pizza. That honour belongs to New Haven, CT.

Send them boys over to 11th Street Diner for a good breakfast. I always hit there when in Miami for a game.

NYC is on top of the food chain. Everything is good...restaurants galore, corner bodegas, delis, street vendors, etc. Heaven for a fat guy.

Chi-town is #2. Lou Malnati's, Giordano's, Harold's, etc. Just hit downtown, north shore, Streeterville and grub.

Yes, we have a winner! NY & Chicago are talked up as pizza towns, but New Haven is the bomb.
On one block on Wooster, you have 2 legends: Frank Pepe's and Sally's. 5 minutes away is my personal favourite, Modern Apizza. All are amazing.
