I don't see it resulting in fewer three's being taken in a game. The difference is just not that great. The guys who thought they could make three pointers consistently enough with the old line will think they can make them from the new one.

Since DJ and Lykes already love to toss it up from half court all the time anyway, it should make a difference for them.

I'd bet most of DJ's and Lykes' (especially) three's last season were from beyond this season's extended arc.
