new offensive coaching staff

I would prefer Field for Te coach/followed by Neidermayer. Both are recruiters...Field gets the edge because of his tri county and state of Fla recruiting prowess.

What we have done so far is NOWHERE near lite. 4 years in NFL and kept when the new regime came in is bad for an OL coach... Will reserve judgement to finished though, and I agree would like to see some flash and an ace at one of the last 2 vacancies

Also agree Lockette was worth a call

Enos I dont think is a downgrade at all. Well see about as an oc but far as a qb coach not only is he an obvious upgrade but hes an amazing hire. It's not necessarily who's a downgrade and who isn't but I know plenty of people who are very interested in spots with us yet were going in other directions. Some were interviewed atleast while others we just had no interest in. All of this I suppose is in the name of enos making his own hires. I just dont respond well to gun point. I think manny could put together an amazing staff if he simply chooses to.

I sure hope Cooney doesn’t get one of the two jobs. That wouldn’t make much sense

Don't you think that Butch Barry is a bad hire?
 
I heard from people that were in South Dade with Cooney, that he was terrible coach. And they used to tell him to his face.

That's hilarious. Strictly keep him in an off field recruiting role. Anything more is a joke.

I would imagine autonomy and getting to pick his staff had a large impact on Enos picking Miami over Alabama and Georgia. Hopefully it is worth it.

While at Southridge Cooney had an offense featuring two D1- Rbs, 3 D1 - wide outs, and a D1 tight end - and could not sustain a drive.
No scheme to speak of, long runs by Bentavious Thompson or Pope simply ran by defenders. Kenmore Gamble who was a man among
boys may have caught 15 passes his senior year.

Brother you know my opinion on searles. From people very much in the know from an offensive line stand point,um past greats swore by searles... not sure what to think about this guy yet but I've got an open mind. Only one who's been hired that I'm flat out against who wasn't already on staff is hickson. Really feel the only purpose in this guy was saving money & plenty of other options we could've saved money on as well.

I don't understand how he is even that...We have 1 Dade kid in this class. I mean I know it was a down year in Dade, but UM should never have less than 3-4 Dade kids in a class.
 
Smith and fields are the dream but most likely not happening. A man can dream though.

We absolutely need proven recruiters on this staff.
