Saw this posted on ITU:

Georgia DE Arden Key just got "Crystle-Balled" to UM by some guy named Demetric Warren.

Obviously, doesn't mean that anything is imminent (and most CB predictions still have Key going elsewhere) but just a heads up that our staff seems to be quietly working on this kid behind the scenes.

FWIW, Demetric Warren is currently the top ranked Crystal Ball predictor on 247, so it doesn't seem like he's just one of those guys that throws **** against the wall.

I know none of this is remotely close to anything resembling an exact science, but of the 22 crystal ball predictions for him, 13 are for South Carolina (where he is committed), 8 are for Georgia and 1 is for Miami.

Key is a beast and I remember many here praising the way he handled his recruitment before he chose South Carolina.

But I'm not getting my hopes up over one out-of-nowhere prediction. Warren's crystal-ball accuracy is under 70%, so it's tough to put much stock into this even though he's their top-ranked predictor. And the crystal ball predictions don't seem to mean much anyway unless there's a sudden surge of picks to the same school shortly before a recruit's announcement.

I'd certainly love for Warren to be right, though, because Key would be a **** of a pull.

Hmm.. that's random. According to 247 his primary recruiter was Barrow. Hurlie already beastin

70% accuracy when you have just over 400 predictions is pretty good.
In 2014 he has predicted us to get Cole, Merrick, Fenton, Clarington, Carlton Davis, and Jaquan Johnson....So let's hope this guy knows what he is talking about...

The accuracy of those is bull****. they go in and change their prediction after word gets out all the time.
I have seen it with numerous cane recruits.

This is true, they do do that. But the fact that, as you said, they change their predictions based on the prevailing mood at the time must mean that this guy has some reason to believe that, in his opinion, things are currently trending in are favor, right? I mean I'm sure Demetric Warren didn't just wake up one morning and just, out of the blue, flip his prediction for this kid to us just for the **** of it.

Anyway, these crystal ball predictions really are just a reflection of the direction each individual predictor sees a prospects recruitment going at a particular point in time. For some reason this guy Warren feels that things are trending our way with this kid right now and I obviously see that as a positive.
