Reports out that Northwestern AD Jim Phillips is the leading candidate. Has some history with Tobacco Road but has been far removed from it. He’s getting high marks from many in the media.

This is good news as he is not part of the Tobacco Road mafia. Also does anyone know if we are gonna name a new President? God I hope Frenk is gone which from the talk all year was that his contract wasn’t gonna be renewed. I holding out hope for the admiral to come in and swiftly kick that over rated ticket salesmen with the yellow teeth out the door and proceed to hire someone that atleast knows what a football team is “supposed” to look like.

I know Swofford favored them, particularly UNC.

I'm just not convinced anything changes vis-a-vis Miami with this guy's hire.
