Nebraska

Right. And the CornSUCKER staff couldn't defeat a LOSING Purdue team who started a FOURTH-STRING walk-on QB entering the fourth-quarter, which said walk-on QB led his Purdue team to a victory over a HAPLESS CornSUCKER team. A FOURTH-STRING WALK-ON! Now that's fresh.

We lost to a 6-6 FIU team. At the site of the Orange Bowl.

If I'm recruiting against Miami for a prospect, that's my pitch. Right there. Those two sentences.

(Oh, and we lost to 3-9 GT at home, too).

And Purdue finished " 4-8. " So what's your point. Also, the Cornsucker's have lost to Iowa for FIVE consecutive seasons now! The Cornsucker's also lost to a 4-8 Colorado team. Ouch. So your inference has no bearing on why the kid went to the Cornsucker hinterlands. I'm GUESSING he chose the Cornsucker's because he was PROMISED a starting position and he wanted to play in front of sell-out crowd. That's all.

"I'm guessing he chose to go to a team that promised him playing time and whose fans go to the stadium on gamedays." (That don't lose to 6-6 non-power 5 teams at the site of their former glory.)

Gee, can't imagine why he'd decide to go somewhere else!

Frost can talk the ears off an elephant and is relentless...same way he did it at UCF. An Urban type recruiter.
After seeing what he did at UCF, ask yourself what he would do Miami with this current set of players. Nebraska is lucky to have him.

But but but Miami needs to have a good record. Lol at anyone thinking beating fiu and Duke would of gotten us Flowe or anyone else. On the field results have nothing to do with on the trail results. This proves it yet again

Yall wake me up when miami start paying. I had a coach tell me miami not getting great players cus they not paying any money

Don't forget he and his staff simultaneously recruited to Nebraska while prepping UCF for their bowl. That's serious commitment

Imagine the difference between the pitch from Diaz and the pitch from Frost. Diaz will always suck out there. He has nothing to fall back on other than he was an intern at ESPN.

Kids are smart for taking a chance with Frost and passing on whatever sht Diaz is throwing against the wall.

Diaz is a bonafide loser.

Meanwhile you neglect to mention that Aidan O'Connell is probably superior to N'Kosi Perry or Jarren Williams. I attended that game you are referring to. The Purdue backup was lousy. But as soon as he got hurt and O'Connell entered the game it was instantly obvious that O'Connell not only had a very quick release but also a supreme confidence out there. I was talking to 5 recent Purdue grads seated one row behind me. They were discouraged when the backup got hurt. I turned around after one throw from O'Connell and said, "Hey, this might be okay." Everything O'Connell did equated to moxie. That translated to two clutch touchdown drives deep in the 4th quarter including the trick play touchdown with maybe 30 seconds remaining. That play happened smack in front of where I was sitting in the 18th row of the corner end zone.

O'Connell started the remaining 3 games. He pulled out the Northwestern game late, then put 24 points on Wisconsin and 31 in regulation against Indiana. O'Connell completed a clutch 4th and goal pass to tie the Indiana game at 38-38 in overtime. O'Connell actually could have pulled out that Indiana game in regulation if not for a dropped pass in the final seconds of regulation. He put it smack on the numbers well within field goal range but the receiver choked.

There are better examples of a hapless quarterback. That's what I am saying. O'Connell reminds me somewhat of Ryan Fitzpatrick in that he's not afraid to throw it up there and allow his receivers to make a play.

Scott Frost has a vision and a plan on how to make it reality with past success to prove his theory. That is a lot easier to sell than " we might run spread or something".

Nebraska basically yanked 2 commits

Beat us out for Greene

and plucked a 4 star guy from Miami Central.

They went 5-7.

This is more concerning then Alabama or Georgia doing this. Expect Nebraska to make this a routine thing. A more annoying Tennessee if you will.
That was a fun time with Tennessee. I could’ve sworn I remembered them having billboards on I-95 as well.
