Yes, while we all rightfully critique where Miami is some thoughts I have on the overall college football playoff
Since ESPN controls the narrative, yet again, its the same basic narrative, different season
1) They actually said on Gameday yesterday that if Alabama wins the SEC, that the SEC might not have a team make the Playoff. For Real!! Now, we all know Georgia is CLEARLY a top 4 team, but in what world should the SEC be entirely shut out of the Playoff? If Bama beats Georgia, Georgia absolutely should be still be in the Playoff. I can see it now, well Texas should be in because they beat Bama who beat Georgia. LMAO
2) Oregon v Washington winner - Gets in
3) Texas - Most likely gets in if they win out but it is becoming apparent this is not a great team. Yes, they get credt for winning at Bama but bot teams are much different now
4) FSU - The most likely team to get left out. Travis now out, could very well lose at UF next week (which would save UFs season and recruits) and lose now to Louisville
3) The Big Ten - Why every year do ESPN and the committee simply guarantee that either Michigan or Ohio St basically gets an automatic pass into the Playoff if they win their Conference? The winner next week gets Iowa in the BTCG, Iowa!!! Iowa is hot stinking garbage and Gerogia just rattled off 3 wins vs Missouri, Ole Miss and Tennessee which is more impressive than beating Iowa and quite honestly more impressive than anything Michigan or Ohio St has done to date. Michigans best win is at Penn St (not a great team by any stretch) and Ohio Sts resume is a 3 loss win vs ND and Penn St.
Its the same thing every year, they get the benefit of playing in a bad Conference while the other teams do all the dirty work and this year Bama will play Georgia, Washington will play Oregon while either one of them gets Iowa!!!
We all know that if they played the composite schedule like the SEC they're not in the position they're in but no one ever says this. They just keeping getting the fortuitious benefit of everyhing
