Good list. Have to say not having HOFer Jim Otto at center might be a pretty big omission, but other than that. McGahee '02 is pretty hard to beat. Our historical talent is sick

I thought about Otto there but if we only count their College Football career, Romberg IMO is the better choice. Romberg never allowed a sack thats pretty impressive.

Otto was a great college player but was way to small to play against today's Dt's and De's

Winslow over Shockey

Having seen both of them live for every single one of their home games, I'll have to disagree. Shockey was often a man among boys.

I saw every one of Bubba's home games as well, and it's insane that he might be on the third team after Winslow.

I may be wrong, but wasn't Ted Hendricks a DE in college?

An impressive lineup. You could name a trio co-starters at a lot of positions.

Yes. DE. Hendricks only played DE and TE in college. TE, you ask? Yes. The coaches planned to get Ted some exposure at TE, maybe only in goal line situations, his senior year. Wanted to get him more exposure for the Heisman. Whether he ever played a snap, I don't remember. Probably didn't.

TE and RB are especially tough to choose. Edge, Portis, OJ Anderson, Chuck Foreman, McGahey - we are certainly RB U.

At TE, Shockey, Winslow, Olson. We are also TE U.

QB I go with Kozar. Got our first NC and was successful and both college and NFL level.

The 6’8” Mad Stork would have been an impressive target in the red one.

Bubba Franks and Willie Smith were excellent TEs as well.
