With NIL and many of these big time recruits making six or seven figures, I believe you will start to see even more blue chip prospects committing to long distance programs. Now that they actually have the money to move their families with them, distance is becoming less of an issue.

What’s long distance?

I disagree, kids that got even got “just a scholarship” already had enough of an excuse or reason to commit to schools out of state.

I wouldn’t imagine the data really bearing that out since it’s already been a thing.

Also, “NIL” done been a thing for high 4/5 star recruits for decades big dawg.

The benefit of Miami is that it's an international city.
Why that's a big plus is the airport.
It's not hard for a player or family to hop on a plan for LA, Seattle, New York, Houston and fly to Miami, it's easy and it's typically similar cultures cause of the large population.

I'd imagine the low taxes in Florida help for NIL too.
 
I assume once you are not a freshman you justy got a big a** house for everyone to come stay?

Yes but $100-200,00 for the top QB is different than $2-4 million; Pre-NIL v NIL. We added a zero on the backend of the money. Of course the kids have to pay taxes now. The IRS is probably happy.
 
I know it’s different for different cultures in America but the way I was raised, I would NEVER let my kid “move me” to another state. I was raised that it’s the parents job to take care of the kids, not the other way.

That’s your money kid.

And don’t even mention aunts and uncles and friends. **** that. Never in a million years, sorry.

i hope they are getting connected to some legit wealth managers
even 1 NIL contract if invested correctly can set them up for life
