I’m from out of state. Loved the experience. The destruction of the OB was a dark period for me. Broke my heart. But HR is the best football stadium I’ve ever seen. Almost went back to see the Dolphins today. (Good move not to.)
—Stadium has character. Captures South Florida. Fun colorful. Open. Plenty of places to cool out, relax before the game and during halftime.
Restaurants, bars, picnic tables. Good Cuban food. Plenty of customer service folks to help you navigate the place.
—The roof creates a great aura. Half a dome. Made it feel a bit like an arena, like the Carrier Dome. But you still get the outside feel.
—I sat up in section 345. But I didn’t feel too far away, as I do in other stadiums. Got a decent price on Stubhub.
—Crowd was great. Except for the drunk guy who fell a couple of rows nearby, everyone was civil. Yelling like crazy but not out of line.
—Wasn’t quite as noisy as I was led to expect — maybe because cane fans were only 60-70 percent of the crowd, not like the usual 90 percent.
— “Hard Rock” a perfect name for a football stadium. Great signage. Sets the tone in a way that “Sun Life” didn’t. I mean does “Sun Life” say football to you?
But...the $#@& parking! Took me maybe 90 minutes to get out of parking lot 18. Nothing moved. Not a good way to end the night. Next time I come, I’ll be asking you folks for advice.
Over all. you all are lucky to have this stadium.
