Amen, brother! They enemy is at the gates and the BOT wants to let them inside. "NO BUTCH - NO PEACE!!!!" To the barricades!!!!!!
 
I just don't understand this. If some at Miami hold a grudge against Butch, and it's not just how Butch departed, then how on God's green Earth can anybody favor Cristobal? The dude ***** all over us when he was at Rutgers and went above and beyond when he was at FIU. I know it's business but you just don't thrash your alma mater. He gets fired by Pete, which is hardly surprising with the huge clash of egos between the two. Miami lets bygones be bygone, hires him as Associate Head Coach and he bails 4 to 5 weeks later.
 
Lead me to the thread based solely on an anti Mario campaign.

I made this same point over at the WEZ board. While I completely get that anyone with a brain would rather work for Saban than Golden, there is no way the UM administration should be okay with how he handled that situation if they are indeed still holding a grudge against Butch. Butch took an NFL job after UM ****ed around about his contract. Mario bolted for a lateral position with the sole purpose of stealing recruits away from Miami 6 weeks after UM gave him a pity job. Fly the banner:
Mario chose Bama. Let him stay there.
