Blades, Reed and Taylor (alphabetically and chronologically) all belong at the top.

But who would be the fourth?

I got Jaquan Johnson as the 4th. To me he was better than Kenny Phillips and Merriweather... I dont know about the guys that came before Reed.

Honestly... Jaquan Johnson.

Not our most impactful but started basically his entire four years, outstanding teammate and rep for The U, and regularly a safety net when the D wasn't tackling.
He didn't start any games his Fresh year and then just 5 his Soph year. He was good but not sure he is even Top 8 in Canes history at safety.

Correct. Honestly, like someone said above, it should be 3. Take the 4th spot and make it a combo of Bennie, Sean, and Ed. Those 3 are just head and shoulders above everyone else.

BUT...there's 4 old white dudes on Mt Rushmore, so we gotta put 4 on this one.

And the correct answer is Darryl Williams.

First-team All-America, finalist for the Thorpe Award, leading tackler on the best defense in the country, 18 ******* tackles in a game against FSU, a two time National Champion, first-round NFL draft pick, led the AFC in interceptions one year, and a University of Miami Sports Hall of Famer.

End of discussion.
