If you've been around here for a while youd know I'm one of the last people to join in on negativity. But the sad reality right now is that "talking football and the real sh-t going on with the program" is the same thing as b-tching and moaning. That's all they've given us. We are 2-3, we only have 2 wins because we played bethune cookman and CMU, the latter of which we **** near lost as 30pt favorites. We just came off a bye week vs one of the worst teams in P5 through four weeks and came out of the gates down 0-28 in one of the worst displays of coaching and player performance I've seen in my entire life at any level. That's not b-tching and moaning, bud, that's simply our current reality.

Absolutely false. There is plenty to talk about that isn't just "b-tching and moaning".

Per SP+, which BTW is crushing the spread this year (which should give it some credibility in the eyes of the low-life, anti-analytics, degenerate gamblers on here), we should've won the UNC game 70% of the time and the VT game 80% of the time. These aren't pre-game win probabilities, these are post-game win probabilities. Think of it as in baseball when a team plays a game in which it hits the ball hard all night long, but the line drives happen to be hit right at fielders, so they lose despite a good showing at the plate.

And despite our continued struggles, Vegas has us as a favorite vs. a top 20 team this week. This isn't a team that is just universally bad at every position, at least that's what people much smarter than 99% of this board think.

So there's a lot to talk about football-wise. The team is actually pretty good in a lot of spots. It needs tweaks here and there, some minor and some major. We can talk constructively about all of that, and yes we can intelligently criticize the areas in which we've underperformed.

But nope. Everything on here is gloom and doom, demanding that we fire everyone.
