Mods, How many times do you all ban and then unban...

Posters? I’d think after the 3rd or 4th ban you stop unbanning. It’s like if your girl cheats on you and you keep forgiving her for 3-4 times.

How many times did she cheat on you before you stopped forgiving her? Do you think you gave her too many chances?
 
What a question.

To the uninformed it might seem like all bands are not permanent, instead running for predefined lengths based on the frequency of infractions within a specific window of time. It might seem, even to the grossly ignorant, as if bands are given for 7 days, and then 30, and then 90, before reaching permanence. It might appear as though the mod’s primary duty is to award the infraction or to not, regardless of the sum punishment, and let the system count it out and award bands regardless of mod opinion.

But to you it sounds like “we all ban and unban” without precedent or standard. As if mods are jailers who throw people in a CIS leased dungeon until the scent of the king’s flatulence shifts and we feel gracious enough to free them.

This is a terrible but illuminating thread.

OK. To sum up?

When the king has a fart attack (cabbage, beans, and pickled pigs feet), and the smell becomes intolerable - you are forced to open a door for oxygen, and in the process, let those banned behind the door - free?

I mean, you gotta do what you gotta do . . . . methane is dangerous.

All you do is ***** ***** ***** shut the **** up and if you have beef with Mods...PM them. Don’t make a stupid *** thread looking for attention and people to feel sorry for you.

Mklein has a great point. OP did not need to start a 33rd thread on said subject expressing his displeasure with a certain poster. Even those who side with him likely agree PM would be more effective. Please let this be the final draft
