****. Massive gap between this and scraping thru the wash and filling a hole with violence on 3rd and 2, but he looks really good. Doesn’t look to be even remotely concerned with that knee.

I don’t think a lot of people understand how massive of an addition this COULD be. I’ve been very vocal on this board that ACLs in college are usually 2 year injuries. Among 500 other examples, it’s the reason I was trying to get everyone to pump the brakes on Elijah Arroyo in 2023. But everyone is different and there are definitely kids who can and have regained full form in a year.

If, and again this is a massive IF, but if this kid is truly 100.0% by September, he’s one of the best linebackers in the ACC, full ******* stop. This is the type of talent that pushes the ceiling of your entire defense up a few notches. He’s that good, when he’s right.

this guy is a monster

This dude had 2 acl surgeries? Thinking about how guys like Chase Smith & Trevonte Citizen looked like they were running in sand after their injuries. This guy literally running in sand looks much faster & precise in his movements. No slight to the others, just incredibly impressed with how well he seems to have recovered.

Im hype bout this dude we need a backer bad! Hes done it before. We got some **** good players on defense out the portal but im the biggest fan of this man i hope he wins he deserves it! Mf movin real good too for the people that was trashin the take cause of the ACL surgeries

Words are just words. Show me in August.

BUT

This dude put out a statement after the injury last August saying thanks for the prayers but please pray for the first dude I get matched up with when I get back, cause they’re gonna need it.

That’s the mindset I need from my backers.

Also, he tore it in mid-August 2024. He will be over a full year post-injury by the ND game. That’s huge.

Injuries like that also have a huge mental component to them. Some dudes never overcome that natural 'timidness' that comes from having knee/joint surgery.

And it often leads to a compensatory injury. Exactly what happened with Arroyo. You run uninhabited one way your whole life, then you try to “baby it” with an injury and something else blows a tire. It happens all the time with ACL rehab.

This dude does NOT look like he’s thinking about or favoring his knee at all.

Great news for us. Keep ramping for the next 3 months. We might have got us one.

I’m not a physical therapist nor an orthopedic surgeon.
But I would not have him do those drills in the sand.
I applaud him for his athleticism.
But acl’s and linebackers are “handle with care”
This ai t a 190 lbs qb or receiver. He’s not even a 210lbs running back.

We are talking about 230-240 with the need to back pedal and sudden/explosive change in direction to both north and south and east west.

I hope he also incorporates some serious recovery tools and supplements.

You must have stayed at a Motel 6 last night

Different people react differently.

BTW, for those that don't know, I swear to you that that sand is about as hot a place as there is in this world. I've played there and I swear, it's 15 degrees hotter. Respect.
i see people complaining about the work out or suggesting that he "just needs to do it in pads" ... obviously they haven't seen this guy in action ... i'll take it a step further, i doubt any of our backers can move like that right now fully healthy ....
