This year is a totally different team then last year regarding unity and no BS on the sideline. I'd bet that Ed Reed's influence is impacting these kids. I bet we get better and better with each game. I believe our biggest detriment this year is the pandemic since we have a brand new offense and less time to install it. With the Roman Marciante videos I see that we seem to be adding to the offense on the fly. Game after game I expect we will be pleased and I am inclined to believe Ed has been a factor. It is our mantra of once a Cane, loyalty is like being a Marine, Semper Fi CANES!

He has definitely made an impact on this team, and I love how the db's especially the safeties are all under him on the sidelines.
 
I feel like y’all are putting way to much stock in to this, reminds me of all the Jaguar fans giving Tom Coughlin credit when we made it to the AFC championship game his first year back with the jags, now he’s the one that gets the blame for ruining our team.

I love having Reed back at the U, but this dude is basically here in a part time role. He doesn’t deserve this much credit for anything this year to be honest.
 
First game of the season, the corners looked terrible. People wanted to throw Ivey to the dogs. Now, they all look serviceable. I believe a lot of that is Ed Reed seeing a problem on the team and working with the kids to improve.

That's been the one position on this football team that has shown the most improvement from game 1 until today. And the safeties.... Bubba Bolden is playing with great instincts and anticipation. I believe Ed Reed has been part of bringing the best out of that kid.

So yeah, I think Reed has made a big impact.
 
from what i understand, mr reed and other recently arrived professional personnel were shocked and dismayed at the softness of our players, the lack of player vigilance and the lack of real leadership (actions and not words). said differently, the lack of culture. hey are working on it, but it is not a light switch that is turned on and off. it takes years.
