Anyone know anything about this guy? Does anyone think the staff will think about trying to bring him in as a grad transfer if Kaaya leaves for the NFL? He had an awesome year at Western Kentucky, but they are losing their top two receivers after this season. He went to high school in Fort Lauderdale, so maybe he would be interested. Wishful thinking or no?

Is White looking to transfer?

He already transferred from USF to West Kentucky & they just played in a Bowl game a few days ago...

Why would he want to come to Miami?

And why would we want to take him when we have Allison, Perry, Rosier & Weldon? (even though I think both the 2017 Freshman will need Redshirts)

I didn't know he already transferred once, but we would take him because he would automatically be the best QB the minute he steps on campus. He would make the 2017 team a playoff contender.

Telling sign of what the staff thinks of the talent at Quarterback if they were to entertain a graduate transfer.

Idk about all that...

He had a great season no doubt, threw for over 4,300yds with 37TD's & 7INT's.

However, you have to absolutely factor in the offensive system he played in having a huge impact on his numbers...

That doesn't mean he still didn't have a great season because he no question did, but you can't really extrapolate those same stats to Miami's system because our Offense is completely different...

You also have to factor in opponents/Defenses they faced, it's not the same quality as is in the ACC.

He started 15 games at USF & didn't play great at all, he goes to Western Kentucky & completely blows up in Jeff Brohm's Offense.

There's no way to assume he would be that great playing with us, maybe he would, but there's really no way of knowing.

Plus, I doubt Richt would be interested, I think he would prefer to develop the guys we already got.

Neither is his WR or OL.

Your joking right? He has a WR and OT that are both projected to go in the top 3 rounds. Do we? Taywan Taylor and Forrest Lamp are both highly thought of pro prospects, and are moving up in draft projections. I wouldn't trade their whole roster for ours of course, but they have some talent. Especially at the skill positions where the RB might get drafted as well And they are fun to watch.

Not saying this guy from WK is the answer but in the college game a superstar QB can turn any team around and this year losing 3 close games, a great QB would have given us a great chance.

Nova i agree, look how close we came with no QB, a half *** QB would have beat Pitt, and v Wisky if the offense could have held the ball on some decent drives giving the D plenty time to rest, well thats when this D shined, the longer they were on the field the worse they got. All speculation of coarse, and i feel that if Richt had really known how bad Rosier was he might have jumped on this kid, it was a one and done so

Forrest Lamp was drafted in the 2nd round in 2017
