Mike Pinckney Fat Shaming

Because they had a slot receiver.

Put in a **** Nickel Corner... a “Striker” playing a slot receiver that far out is Donofrito behavior. I can see if the slot is bunched close to the line but if he is spread out you look fkn stupid as ****. Derrick Smith was running from behind bc he was out of the play on a fckn running down??

Diaz thinks our linebackers get worn out with his constant blitzing, so he's over confident in the backups and subs constantly to not wear out the second level. Too bad a fresh ****** player isnt always better than a tired solid player

56 and 55 will be here for their senior seasons. They weren’t just overhyped by this fan base either. National media guys have over hyped them also.

I don't see a problem with Pinkney, but I might see the opposite with our DEs, specifically Joe Jackson.

They totally transformed his body from that explosive freshman year to make him an every down guy, and it seems to me like he's lost a step. I rewatched the Wisconsin game a few days before LSU, and #63 just stonewalled Jackson all night long. Maybe he wasn't "stonewalled" vs LSU, but he certainly wasn't as productive as I thought he would be. (Personally, I thought Jackson had the best chance of taking the leap to become our next first round pick, over MJ, AR, Shaq.)

Garvin was quiet as well. Could be LSU's OL was better that advertised, coulda simply been a bad night. I just expected our bookends to be more disruptive.

I don;t mean to overreact, and it was only the first game. Just a thought I had that I figured I'd share.

Maybe joe Jackson is not all the way healthy, still has that brace on his arm

It was 2nd and 15. We went man coverage so I don't care if you have a Striker or Nickel corner they were not the problem. Shaq got cut. Jennings blew his assignment, period. Jackson was getting doubled but if Jennings maintains his gap it is a gain of maybe 3 to 4 yards. Not sure if Broussette would have tried to bounce it. And then Knowles took himself out of the play. Never seen that before.

Pinckney has been ridiculed by fans and former players for his bad body since he gained weight following the 2016 season. He responded (as I respond) and cut a bunch of weight and became a bit of a weakling. That missed open field tackle early in the 3rd quarter was what I feared would happen. Anyone else miss the 2016 version of our starting linebackers?
Tha LB’s did not play well. But losing weight was not the cause.

We got whipped at the Line of Scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Only G. Willis had his way.

We are missing those should have been Sr. DT’s.

These 3 heralded linebackers have shown at best marginal improvement in some areas and at worst actual overall regression since year 1.

That falls on the coaches and lack of development.

I miss these Guys.....100% Savages

Who was the DC their freshmen year? Who was coaching LBs their freshmen year? They were improved last year. Take away the 50 yard run neither were on the field and LSU was 39 for 108. They are solid players. Nothing spectacular but solid players and athletes.

What ****es me off about Diaz is he wholesale subs and he does so way too much. If we were stacked everywhere then go for it. Just like on 4th and 1. He pulls Willis and Bethel for Tito and Ford and Tito jumps outside.
We've never done well with Tito's...

Same page. That first step is what made Jackson so dangerous. That game against LSU, correct me if I'm wrong, but I saw way more bull rushes then swim moves (Kul) then I've ever seen. I dunno, but that heat we saw last couple of years was not there. Garvin either.
