If he's born and raised in GA and as an uber skill player, I'd highly doubt he's escaping the clutches of UGA or maybe even Bama. His HS is prolly no more than 45mins from Athens as an fyi.

You do try like you would any other top shelf player. Just can't spend an inordinate amount of time and resources is all. Cause even if somehow you got his verbal, no way it's over till that ink meets paper w/ Smart and Co. being that close by.

Georgia seems to be our second most important state after FL (with hopefully TX and LA running a close third). Saw this post from Rasta and it made me think. Who are our must get GA recruits? I will track consensus picks in the OP 2024 Recruit Stars Position Priority UVs OV Committing HS...

I can't believe that we never even offered Matthews especially given that his team mate Jayln Crawford just visited and is considering an OV. I learned a lesson from the Colin Simmons thread. Just because there's silence doesn't mean Mario & crew aren't working.
