Michigan CB Blake Countess transferring...

We have recruited CB well enough that this isn't necessary.

If there's space, then why not? He won't count towards the total number of ships for '16. We lost A crawford. If he's good, he'll play. If he sucks, he'll sit. Don't see how you lose by taking him.

If Mike the blanket Williams was a take then this kid should be too.

You are trippin dude. We have literally 3 CBs on the roster that are good enough right now to play. Tracy Howard, Artie Burns, and Corn Elder.
We are probably going to play Bush at CB this year, that's how little depth we have.

So, If this guy is good, I think we'd have to take him if he wanted to come here. However, I also think that Howard, Burns, and Elder are all good and should be the starters here (Burns and Howard outside, and Elder as the nickel). So I'd say he'd be a number 4 cb, so he'd probably not want to transfer somewhere where he's not going to be a starter.

You're smarter than this my friend.

We got Artie Burns. In which one guy who was fired by 2 NFL teams in the same city. Say's that 2 scouts from these team are projecting him to late 1st to early 2nd rd in the draft.

That is half the field taken away. Throw Bush, Crawford and Howard/Elder on the entire other side and no one will complete a pass.

Al got this **** on lock. That is why he told 21 to kick rocks.

we need young cb's

The ship has sailed on young guys. At this point, you take anybody who can play to provide some depth for the 2015 season. If this guy can play and he's interested in us, take him all day every day.

The important thing is he has experience losing with a clueless coach. He can slide right in here.

Just a note here--I've seen nothing saying that he is interested in coming to Miami for his last year of eligibility. His final 5 before initially committing to Michigan was Michigan, NC State, GT, Louisville, and Maryland. Near the end of his recruitment, Penn State came on strong and almost flipped him before he reaffirmed his pledge to Michigan.

That being said...I wouldn't be upset if we reached out and showed some interest. He's not a game changer, but I think the kid can play well enough to fit into our secondary for a year.

It's a travesty that a team with South Florida as it's recruiting ground is struggling to find CB's and RB's.

That alone should be enough for termination with cause.
