Haha, I know. Right?

Next year we are running the pistol -- surely. We need a full back for some formations. RG is still developing his body per the coaches and he's not going to give us much in the passing game. And tbh, RG and MIJ are probably closer than you think in terms of blocking. Irvin got some daggum MITTS if you haven't seen.

MIJ playing fullback next year would give Nkosi a piece of mind, at times. MIJ has the ability to get to the flat, split between lineman for a middle seam, and he can give us something in the blocking department.

Brevin Jordan is still the man and Slim (other skinny dude, forgot name) is still the number 2. I'm just saying our pistol offense next year should have a fullback of some sort that can give us something in the passing game. If Richt fails to do this, then the defense is only worrying about our other 4 eligible receivers.

We don't have powerful OL who can move people, and that includes Donaldson since he trips over his feet and falls flat on his face every snap.

No fullback, no 12 personnel unless TE2 is split out wide.

It's Will Mallory, and he is one heck of a player.

There's no magic pill to cure laziness.

I'll believe it when I see it...like everything else in this miserable Richt era.

You may not have been paying attention to scaife and donaldson at the end of the year, and donaldson trying to get in better shape to play tackle has actually got him in better shape to play guard. Jeep in mind, health being good, he will be going into his 3rd year in the strength and conditioning program, which is normally where guys benefit the most.

Donaldson is still too heavy and plays too high. Scaife is fine. He can play RG.

LT Kennedy
LG Boulware
C Mahoney
RG Scaife
RT Brown

Let's use our skinny, athletic OL to our advantage and teach them how to block on designed screens for Lingard, Pope, Payton, Dallas, Davis, etc. Anything is better than 2 claps and a cloud of dust.

Synchronized clapping with N'Kosi was about the only thing i found amusing and enjoyed about our offense last year...

LoL, you must be joking if you think those are going to be the starters come next year. In fact if campbell or herbert starts ballin out, and if this kennedy guy is any good, the o-line may look more like this next year,

kennedy
donaldson
gaynor
scaife
campbell/herbert!

Bottom line is we got more talented o-linemen collectively on this roster now. Adding clark, Zion and ELGammal to that mix is beautilful.

Bold. But Scaife will be the LT and Herbert ain’t touching the field ever. Sadly.

I actually kind of want to see scaifr and donaldson moved to the strong side myself and that'll leave an opening for reed and campbell, but if scaife could play guard, teams would have **** to pay on the inside. The one thing that's obvious, scaife's play has elevated donaldson's play.

Very true. Scaife seems like a natural talent that elevates those around him - you’re spot on. He may be our most talented OL since Linder. I guess we will see .

Exactly man, and this is the reason i didnt want to see coach searels let go, cause now we'll get a chance to really see better what level o-line coach we have, cause the o-line will mostly be made up of his guys now, and if whoever is the qb is operating the offense properly, i personally dont thinjk searels is a bad o-line coach, although i'd still rather had coach richt keep coach kehoe, our o-line was doing work as the year went on with no passing game or no physically mature tightends!

Zion's currently 240 lbs, you moron. He's the prototypical redshirt candidate.
