Considering how ****** we have been for the last decade it truly shows how elite were were for the rest of the time period.
 
Had we given Butch the contract he deserved following the 2000 season, that number is easily over 10, and closer to 11. Coke, Shannon and Golden should have NEVER happened.

very high number considering our last 2 corches. I don't know how we won any games with Golden and staff in charge.
 
How many losses per year are in this timespan? We were playing 11 games per regular season most of this timespan, we've never played 14 games in a year (never won ACC division) and we haven't even made a bowl game every year.

For the last 15 years we've had a mediocre at best coach followed by 2 of the worst coaches in BCS conferences. Due to the NCAA sanctions he faced Butch's record wasn't that outstanding either. I wouldn't expect our record to be any better given those circumstances. If you go 10 years further back the record would improve though.
