Miami vs. Notre Dame Kickoff Time, TV Network Announced

See you all there!!

I’ve mentioned this before but New Buffalo is a great option if you’re not married to the idea of staying in Chicago. There’s a main street with bars and restaurants. And a fairly solid casino. Tons of dispensaries as well (that are extremely cheap).

Kickoff times and TV networks are starting to get released for the 2026-27 season, and the Canes vs. the Irish drew the 7:30 p.m. ET slot on NBC.

We've known that this would take place under the lights for a while now, as it's now official. The Canes and the Irish under the lights, just like old times. Miami faced off against the Irish this past season on August 31, where the game was the primetime Sunday night game inside Hard Rock Stadium, so it's not a surprise it's another one.

The last time the Canes and Irish faced off at South Bend was in 2016, where the Hurricanes fell short, 30-27, with Brad Kaaya behind the line.

According to BetMGM, the Hurricanes will come into these way-too-early odds as a 5.5-point underdog versus the Irish. Who doesn't like a good underdog story?

Canes. Irish. Primetime. See you there.
NBC Notre Dame Broadcast I don’t like.
The Build up to that Game Especially if Both are undefeated & Rank in the Top 5 will be Epic.

Legends could be crown 👑 & Trophies Could be won on how the game turns out.

Went there a couple weeks ago on a Sunday. Real cool area and the casino is solid.

Honest question, has anyone watched a Notre Dame game on NBC in the last year or two? Obviously, NBC has the relationship with Notre Dame, but are the announcers super homers?

There was an ND fan on here last year warning Canes fans it wouldn't be safe to attend the game. Less than 24h after final playoff announcement. Jokers

You are better off flying into Chicago, staying there, and driving the hour and a half.

You’re familiar with this area - what would you recommend as an area/town to stay not in South Bend but closer to South Bend than Chicago?

I’m sure South Bend will be like Tallahassee when Miami plays FSU, in other words, bedbug palaces for $1,000 a night.

Michigan City is an option. It's about 30-35 miles from Southbend and I'm sure they'll have places a lot cheaper than Southbend for that weekend.
