Kickoff times and TV networks are starting to get released for the 2026-27 season, and the Canes vs. the Irish drew the 7:30 p.m. ET slot on NBC.

We've known that this would take place under the lights for a while now, as it's now official. The Canes and the Irish under the lights, just like old times. Miami faced off against the Irish this past season on August 31, where the game was the primetime Sunday night game inside Hard Rock Stadium, so it's not a surprise it's another one.

most miami notre dame games were not under the lights. in fact south bend used to not have them back in the legendary games in the late 80's- they brought in temporary lights now and then but most miami games there were during the day. obviously 2017 was at night as was the shamrock series in chicago

At the OB, the legendary 3rd & 43 game was at night but the previous two weren't
 
If both teams go into that game undefeated, that game will be one of the highest rated regular season games in decades.

The storylines would be infinite.

If Miami and ND are undefeated or are 1 loss teams then it's a no brainer. Otherwise I would say Oregon and OSU.

I might have to go alcohol-less for this one and drive back to Chicago. Hotels and airbnb's are uber expensive. I saw a "shed" yesterday on VRBO for $5k a night.

Hopefully the Bears play that weekend and i'll do a 2 for 1.
