My favorite memory.

"Devin Hester awaits. Returnable. 41-yarder. Hester from the 22. Picking up blocks. He hit the middle hard! Devin Hester, the punter to beat. He beat him. The Miami Hurricanes take the lead. Touchdown!"

Mike Tirico with a FANTASTIC call.

That was a fun game and great crowd. I was on the south side lower bowl, I think second row. Great view of Hester.
Remember chilling wit a couple of friends and being like **** it let's go to game last minute, get over 17 Ave bridge, got some lower bowl tickets from scalper standing on the median for like $10 bucks each.. tickets were front row in the ednzone hester ran into.. one of goat moments, never forget

Hester and Reggie Bush are to this day the two most electrifying CFB players in the games history!

I first started following the Canes due to Santana Moss, but truly fell in love with the Canes with Sean Taylor and Hester

Hester was faster than the cameras.
With today’s kickers in the NFL and CFB, I don’t think anyone will ever top him.

I was at that game. Louisville had a **** of an offense. Two great running backs and their QB. If I remember correctly, Brohm was the back up QB and it was his freshman year.

West End Zone - First year I had season tickets.

I was there in the WEZ end zone and it was electric.

Not for nothing, but watching him break into stride after evading last potential tackler was a thing of beauty. It was like watching Secretariat at Belmont.

All I'm going to say.

**** he is/was fast. I mean faast.
the fastest I've ever seen a football player run was Hester picking up the blocked kick against the Gaytors in the Peach Bowl and returning it for a TD. Dude seemed like he was shot out of a cannon. Started high-stepping at like the 25 yard line
